Mold silicone rubber is generally composed of five components: base rubber, cross-linking agent, catalyst, filler and additive. Selection of mold silicone rubber:
According to the operation mode, silicone rubber with hardness of 20 degrees or 40 degrees can be selected for the filling mold (mold), specifically:
20 degree hardness mold silicone rubber features: small handicrafts, low viscosity, good fluidity, easy operation, easy bubble discharge, good tensile tear strength, easy pouring.
40 degree hardness mold silicone rubber features: it is a large product with low viscosity, good fluidity, easy operation, easy bubble discharge, good tensile tear strength and easy pouring.

In theory, as long as the first three components are available, mold silicone rubber can be made, but in order to obtain a certain strength, "filler" is generally necessary, and "filler" depends on the situation. The ratio of catalyst component to main rubber component is generally between 1% and 3%. The speed of the gelling reaction can be adjusted by adjusting the catalyst proportion.

Characteristics of silicone rubber for mould:
① Mold silicone rubber should have good operation performance.
② Silica gel has better fluidity, low viscosity and easy operation.
③ The smaller the shrinkage of silicone rubber, the better.
④ The tensile force of silicone rubber is better.
⑤ The silicone mold can not be deformed.
⑥ The hardness of silicone rubber shall be suitable for product use.
⑦ High temperature resistance, multiple mold turnover, longer service life, better, acid and alkali resistance and aging resistance.
