There are various types of silicone products made from environmentally friendly silicone raw materials, which are widely used in industries such as food, medicine, electronics, industry, and textiles. They are all produced by machines, and the difference lies in the different product molding and processes. There are four molding methods for silicone raw materials: extrusion, molding, dripping, and injection molding. The following mainly discusses the extrusion process of silicone products:

Extruded silicone products are usually formed by extruding silicone using an extrusion machine. Generally, the shape of extruded silicone is long and tubular, which can be cut freely. It is widely used in medical devices and food machinery, and the most commonly made silicone products are silicone tubes, silicone sealing strips, silicone sealing rings, and other silicone products.

Advantages of silicone extrusion molding:

1. The silicone material is further mixed and plasticized through the rotation of the extruder screw, ensuring a denser and more uniform quality of the extruded semi-finished rubber material;
2. Widely applicable, various cross-sectional shapes of silicone rubber profiles and preformed semi-finished products for pressing molds can be extruded by changing the mouth mold;
3. The extruded products have fast speed, high production efficiency, and are conducive to automated production;
4. Extrusion molding is not limited by length and can meet the requirements of ultra long products that cannot be manufactured by molding due to equipment limitations.
