Composition:
The common heat-resistant agents filled in the high-temperature silica gel are iron oxide red, iron oxide yellow, cerium dioxide, titanium dioxide, manganese oxide, zinc oxide and other metal oxides, but also carbon nanotubes, zinc carbonate and other materials. The heat resistant agent can be filled alone, or can be combined to obtain ideal temperature resistance and mechanical properties. Benzene or boryl organic groups can also be introduced into the molecule, thereby greatly improving the temperature resistance. In addition, the silica black used to strengthen will also affect the heat resistance of silica gel, usually the gas phase silica black has a more significant adverse effect on heat resistance, the more the amount of silica black, the worse the heat resistance of silica gel after vulcanization, after surface treatment of silica black can improve the heat resistance of silica gel to a certain extent.
Nature:
At high temperatures, the physical parameters will change, in general, the weight may be reduced at high temperatures for a long time, the hardness will increase, the tear strength will become smaller, the tensile strength will become smaller, and the elongation at break will become lower.
