Heat resistance: Silicone rubber has much better heat resistance than ordinary rubber. It can be used almost forever at 150℃ without performance change; it can also be used continuously at 200℃ for 10,000 hours; it can also be used at 350℃ a period of time. Specially formulated silicone rubber remains elastic even at higher temperatures.

Cold resistance: Silicone rubber still has good elasticity at -60°C to -70°C, and specially formulated silicone rubber can also withstand extremely low temperatures.

Weather resistance: Silicone rubber is not affected by ozone, and its physical properties only change slightly when exposed to ultraviolet rays and other climatic conditions for a long time.

Electrical properties: Silicone rubber has a high resistivity and its resistance remains stable over a wide temperature and frequency range. At the same time, silicone rubber has good resistance to high-voltage corona discharge and arc discharge.

Breathability: Silicone rubber film has better air permeability than ordinary rubber and plastic films, and has strong selectivity for the air permeability of different gases.

Physiologically inert: Silicone rubber is odorless, non-toxic, has no adverse effects on the human body, reacts slightly with body tissues, and has excellent biomedical properties.

Other properties: Silicone rubber also has flame retardancy (after adding a small amount of flame retardant), radiation resistance (silicone rubber containing phenyl groups), electrical conductivity (after adding conductive fillers) and thermal conductivity (after adding thermally conductive fillers) and other characteristics.
