Fluorosilicone rubber, like ordinary silicone rubber, has lower mechanical strength (especially tear strength) of vulcanized rubber. Therefore, improving and enhancing the strength of fluorosilicone rubber is also an important research topic.

Fluorosilicone rubber has excellent weather aging resistance and maintains good performance even after 5 years of exposure. Ozone is one of the gases generated most during the aging of elastomers, but no cracking or cracking was found in fluorosilicone rubber after dynamic or static testing.
