201 methyl silicone oil is a novel silicone synthetic material. The appearance is colorless transparent oily liquid. Its chemical composition is straight-chain polymethicone.

Because of the stability of silico-oxygen bond, hydrophobicity of methyl group and the structure of methicone polymerization, the methicone oil has good heat resistance. High flash point, non-volatile, small viscosity coefficient, large compression force, small surface tension, chemical stability, good electrical (insulation), and water and moisture resistance, non-toxic to organisms (including humans). In order to make methyl silicone oil form a film on the surface of other objects or make a rubber-like solid substance, it can be heated at high temperature (250-300 ° C) or cured with an appropriate catalyst (generally with peroxide). The temperature range of methyl silicone oil is 50-180℃.
