1. Kaolin
Kaolin has a double octahedral crystal structure and can be used as a ceramic filler for ceramicized silicone rubber. A dealcoholized one-component ceramic silicone sealant was prepared. Among them, kaolin is used as a ceramic filler, and zinc borate plays the role of flux to promote the formation of ceramic. The results show that the volume of the sealant added with composite ceramic powder has a certain expansion after calcination at high temperature, but no obvious defects and cracks appear, and the morphology of the sample is maintained well, so the composite ceramic powder has a good fire prevention effect.
2. mica
Mica is a silicate mineral, containing a variety of metal elements, layered structure, has excellent dielectric properties, adiabatic properties, chemical stability and high physical and mechanical properties, and high temperature, acid and alkali resistance.
In ceramic silicone rubber composites, mica can not only improve the electrical insulation and thermal stability of ceramic silicone rubber composites, but also reduce the cost of composite materials to a certain extent.
3. Fibrous fillers
Fiber can be used to modify rubber composite materials. Carbon fiber and calcium silicate fiber are also commonly used porcelain fillers, which can significantly improve the mechanical properties and thermal stability of composite materials. By adding 1.5%~35.0% hollow ceramic microspheres, 8.0%~30.0% quartz powder and magnesium oxide, as well as an appropriate amount of short carbon fiber and glass fiber to the resin-reinforced RT-vulcanized silicone rubber, only a small amount of smoke was produced after burning at 700℃ for 15 min.
4. Wollastonite
Wollastonite is a calcium-containing metasilicate substance with excellent thermal and chemical stability, which is widely used in rubber and paint products.
