The hydrolysis-condensation method involves the hydrolysis and condensation reactions of silanes to obtain vinyl-containing silicone oil.
In terms of applications, due to its unique crosslinking reactivity, vinyl silicone oil is often used as a crosslinking agent or modifier for the preparation of various polymer materials such as silicone rubbers, silicone resins, and silicone gels. Additionally, vinyl silicone oil can be used in the preparation of coatings, inks, and adhesives to improve their adhesion and durability. In the cosmetics industry, vinyl silicone oil is also used as a base ingredient in cosmetics due to its good skin feel and film-forming properties, enhancing the moisturizing and glossy appearance of products.
