Phenyl silicone oil is a product obtained when some of the methyl groups in methyl silicone oil are replaced by phenyl groups. It can be classified in various ways, primarily based on the phenyl content:
Low Phenyl Silicone Oil: With a phenyl mole fraction ranging from 5% to 10%, this silicone oil is particularly suitable for applications requiring high cold resistance, maintaining fluidity at -70°C.
Medium Phenyl Silicone Oil: With a phenyl mole fraction of 25%, this silicone oil exhibits high thermal stability and is suitable for various high-temperature environments.
High Phenyl Silicone Oil: With a phenyl mole fraction of 45%, this silicone oil not only has high thermal stability but also good radiation resistance, making it suitable for use as a heat treatment bath for metal products, high-temperature heating oil, etc.
High Phenyl Low Polymerization Degree Silicone Oil: With a phenyl mole fraction higher than 45%, this silicone oil has special properties suitable for specific high-temperature, high-radiation environments.
Cross-linked Phenyl Silicone Oil: Prepared through specific synthesis processes, it has a cross-linked structure and is suitable for applications requiring high strength and stability.
